I am currently reading the unabridged series for tertiary fourth dimension (through audiobooks this time) and I take read The Deathly Hallows three times when it was released and I was simply wondering how many others have read the series more that once and how many times, have you either gotten tired of information technology, or fallen deeper in love with it? 
To be honest I accept no clue any more than. When I was a kid I read them all and my dad got the sound books which we employ to listen to on trips. I later got the audiobooks which I have listened to several times. So some where betwixt 10-12 times. I'm non sure of an verbal count only my closest guess is 8 or 9 though I simply started #one again last dark. :) The merely other I take read as many times (more actually) is LotR. I never get tired of reading them and as I noticed concluding dark when I picked HP upwardly to beginning reading, a smile came to my face. Same with LotR, starting the book once again made me feel like I was coming home from a long trip. I can't see that I will end re-reading my favorites any time soon. 
I'm on my third rereading of the Harry Potter series now. Enjoy it more every time!

I am at present rereading HP series for the third time. I already finished HP 1 and two last week and at present I am reading HP 3. :) 
MM... full serial, I have no idea. Merely I know I've read the first one at least 12 times orso xD I stopped counting... I'm rereading the series for the third or quaternary time...man, these books never grow old. And then excited to see and then many Potterheads on Goodreads!Anyone here from California? I tin can't wait for the Harry Potter theme park to open hither in 2016!
I've read the entire serial probably 6 times. I really don't know how many times I've read The Sorcerer's Stone, at least 12, probably more. These are my fall back books when I don't know what to read. They never get old and they brand me feel happy. And I love picking upwardly my xvi year onetime copy of The Sorcerer's Rock just because information technology is so worn and loved! :) message ten: past May͛a (new)

Twice...I take already started reading the 1st book for the 3rd fourth dimension. Unfortunately I haven't institute some other volume to excite me every bit much as the Harry Potter series... I always go dorsum to it after a bad reading.. message 19: by Muddy (new)

I started reading Harry Potter like 3 years agone at well-nigh, and so I take only managed to read the series eight times :) 
I've just finished my second full re-reading of the whole series. I read it all when information technology beginning came out and since then I've re-read the individual books ad hoc, merely I accept only just re-read the whole series. I'm feeling a scrap lost having just finished the Deathly Hallows...I've got a really long list of other books to read but I feel I could start to read the whole lot of HP once again straight away! 
I'one thousand at the starting time of my third re-read. I read the serial start when I was a kid/pre-teen, once in my mid-teens, and again at present that I'yard older. It's astonishing how your perspective of certain things change over the years. For instance, when I was a kid, I loved how Dumbledore gave Gryffindor just plenty points to overtake Slytherin at the end of book ane; at present, I think it was a pretty unkind thing to do. I've as well grown weary of how blackness and white the Houses are portrayed, and would like to see Slytherin exist a little more diversified. Merely even nevertheless, it's such a pleasure to read the series, and I'1000 glad I decided to pick up the books once more. 
I've read through the whole serial 4 times in all. Whenever I encounter a reading slump, though, I'll pick up either the Order of the Phoenix or the Deathly Hallows to leave of information technology, so I've honestly lost count how many times I've read those 2. bulletin 26: by Agnik (new)

They were the only books I would read for twelvemonth when I was younger. Must have read the full serial at least 4 times in a row, merely at present Ill still pick one up at random when I start to miss them. Try to resist reading the full series again, or I will never read other books!

Like many others here I've lost count, just my judge would exist around 6 or 7 maybe? A chip more for book 3, a bit less for Deathly Hallows because information technology came final and I'm pretty certain I re-read them before information technology came out. I one time stayed up virtually all night re-reading Goblet of Fire even though I knew information technology past heart! lol Does anyone else hither detect Chamber of Secrets actually hard to re-read though? Out of all the books I've plant myself unable to get through it a second time for some reason! I know I loved it when I starting time read it, but I just can't bring myself to finish a 2nd full reading!

My Dad read each of them to me the starting time fourth dimension. I take since read each of them an additional 3-4 times, including in one case in French for all seven of them. 
The first time I listened to information technology on audiobook, but afterwards that I reread information technology 7 times over the years. 
Twice. Start in Hungarian and 2d in English. I want to reread them once more of grade, peculiarly in English. bulletin 37: by Luna (new)
I re-read the series recently and I've gotten back into my HP phase. I think I read the series altogether though only 3 times.

I must've read and reread it several times.
But I remember re-reading PoA & HBP over and over again. I think those were the best-written in the series!
